Method
- In a large Dutch oven sauté the onions and peppers in olive oil. Once onions are translucent add ground bison and cook until brown
- Add in Seasoning and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir constantly to insure they don't burn
- Pour in tomatoes, Beans and Broth
- Bring to a simmer over medium low heat and cook about 15 minutes
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Remove from heat
- Serve with your favoirte toppings Cheese, Sour Cream, Green onions. Etc.
Notes
- This recipe grows in flavor over time and makes great left over or food prep
- For extra Spice add Dice Jalapeño or Diced Green Chilies
